The Revit 2021 / 2022 installer you've downloaded from Autodesk is corrupt and will not install correctly. 
Windows 7: Click the Windows Start menu Run Regedit.
Windows 8: Right-click Start screen All apps Run Regedit. Windows 10: Right-click Start, and select Run. Additional information about the registry is also contained in the Help topics in the Microsoft Registry Editor. Use the Microsoft® Registry Editor only at your own risk and only after backing up the registry as well as the system.dat and user.dat files as outlined for your operating system in the Microsoft Knowledge Base. Microsoft provides critical information that you need to know about the registry in the Microsoft Knowledge Base at If you do not use any other Autodesk software, use Microsoft® Windows Explorer to locate and delete the following Autodesk files and folders (and subfolders, where they exist):Ĭaution: Problems caused by improperly editing the Windows registry could render your computer operating system unusable. If you retain the files, most of the user settings are used when you reinstall and start the software. These files are not removed by the uninstall process and can be removed manually, if desired.
